Rittgers & Rittgers Annual Scholarship
Through its high school scholarship program, Rittgers & Rittgers will award four scholarships totaling $10,000 to deserving high school seniors in Warren County Ohio each year. The scholarship program is intended to help local students pay for advanced education such as college, nursing, business, trade, technical training, or other similar program.

Criteria
The Rittgers & Rittgers Scholarship honors four promising Warren County seniors each year for intellectual strength, independent thinking and exceptional achievement. Recipients are chosen based on their ability to achieve success through a demonstrated commitment to the principles of the United States Constitution, including freedom, progress and justice. Rittgers & Rittgers believes that to value the nation’s founding principles we must value hard work and excellence in Warren County’s public schools.
Applications are due by April 1
Candidate Profile
Applicants must have a GPA of 3.3 or above, with demonstrated commitment to the principles of the United States Constitution. Prior to receiving an award, the applicant must submit an official high school transcript and verification of post-graduate plans (upon request). Candidates DO NOT need to have experience with legal or constitutional matters. Only graduating seniors from Warren County public schools will be considered.
Essay
Please limit your response to fewer than 500 words. Anything exceeding this limit will not be considered. Competitive candidates will demonstrate a commitment to freedom, progress and justice in answering the following: Discuss how verdicts compensating injured individuals in civil trials in the American judicial system protect the community and public from needless danger.
